Having spent New Year at the Fort York, I can confidently say it's a gem nestled in the heart of the city. The apartment was immaculate and comfortable, making it a cozy retreat after a day of exploring historic York. I loved the attention to detail, like the delightful biscuits and crisp snacks waiting for us on arrival, which added a nice touch to our stay. The location is perfect – just a hop away from the iconic York Minster and Betty's, creating an ideal base for immersing myself in the city's vibrant culture. We particularly enjoyed the themed rooms, each showcasing unique designs that truly reflect York’s charm. The comfortable wet room shower was a bonus, offering a refreshing way to unwind. I must note that if you're not a fan of stairs, it may pose a challenge, especially with the lively atmosphere surrounding this central location.
